Scientia P2 is a finite capacity scheduling system that was developed by Scientia for Rexam Plc to optimise production schedules within their manufacturing base of twenty production facilities in the UK & Europe. The software provides a dynamic real time management environment and monitors how jobs are flowing through the production facility, giving alerts when there are production issues and advice on how production resources can be redeployed to overcome them. The software supports multiple planners working concurrently on different aspects of the plan.
